The Happenings of the Week...

Lots of things went on in the world of Rodney this week. First of all the Tarheels won two games which was a good thing. The world lost a great and wonderful person to a terrible disease in Kay Yow. The superbowl is this week and my favorite team before the panthers come into the league, the Steelers, are playing for another world title. Georges St. Pierre just demolished BJ Penn in the UFC. I successfully completed another week of school which i am enjoying more and more each time i go. I got the ok from Jace to go to Pinehurst this week and tour #2 on monday something ive been wanting to do for a while. So for now im gonna get ready to superbowl party with my commrades if they ever make it home... I will post again after i tour Pinehurst tomorrow... God Bless you all

The Top Ten Albums im Listening to Right Now

Ok so here goes the top ten albums im listening to right now.... some of these albums arent new, as a matter of fact many of them arent new but never the less these are my top ten at the moment.... enjoy and send me some feedback
10. Tell Tale Signs- Bob Dylan (the king of off pitch harmonys put together a compilation of old songs that didnt make the other albums, and it is amazing)

9. I Heard They Suck Live- NOFX (really i listen to every NOFX album, but this is my favorite)

8. How I Spent My Summer Vacation- The Bouncing Souls (East Coast Punk at its finest)

7. The Opposite of December- Poison The Well (the best hardcore album ever)

6. Master of Puppets- Metallica (really what can you say to that)

5. From Here to Infirmary- Alkaline Trio (Chicago 1 The World 0, its dark its catchy and it will leave you breathless like an LSD trip on space mountain...)

4. Any album in their collection- Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (Ok if you can make a punk cover of End of the Road by Boyz to Men you are a winner in life)

3. Pulse (Live)- Pink Floyd (the most prolific band of our generation and live at that sooo good)

2. Alison Krauss & Union Station Live- AKUS (the most amazing voice ive ever heard)

1. Emotionalism- The Avett Brothers (these guys are the best group to come out in 25 years and they really just kill it Scotty Avett passed Eddie Van Halen in my mind when i saw him play, your really doing yourself a favor by listening to this group)

This empty space that you create does nothing for my flawless sense of style...

Fashion? What exactly are benefiting factors in fashion? Does what we wear really dictate who we are? I think not. I sometimes dress nice like when im playing golf or something but other than that im usually in some kind of metal t shirt and a pair of cargo shorts or blue jeans. Im proud to say i have friends from all different kind of backgrounds. I love all kinds of people and dont get me wrong if you wanna wear polo thats fine by me but i definetly dont think any more of you because you do. The world needs to look past several factors to make this place a better place to live in... Number one ugly and beautiful.... whos to say whats ugly and whats beautiful??Certainly not myself and certainly not any writer and some lame magazine like People or Redbook. Number two... financial status should mean nothing to you or anyone else. I wanna be your friend because i love hanging out with you not because your parents drive a cadillac. Number three diversity of race and religion... I DO NOT care if you are black, asian, indian, or mexican all that has nothing to do with the person inside you and the same goes with religion. I myself am a christian its what i chose to believe and the path i chose to walk. But if you believe something else and you are in my circle of friends i love you just the same. We all need to take a stand for something. This world is not forever so try to make a difference in someones life before you go... otherwise it will be like youve never been here at all!
stay tuned for some music reviews in the next couple of days im gonna put some albums on here that you must own

The Passion of English Premier League Soccer

Today i watched the match between Manchester United and Tottenham. About two years ago i became a Manchester U fan and now will be until i die. I noticed the passion of the fans during the game sitting on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the next shot on goal or the next good run made by a forward and it really overtook my emotions. I sit here thinking why cant i apply this emotion to everything i do in life???? I dont do that when its time for breakfast or when its time to do some exercising and definetly not when im at school. So ive made a resolution... i want to live my life more passionately in every aspect. I want to be enthused about whatever my task is at the time. I definetly need to apply to my spirtual life. Life isnt a downer... i have many things to be thankful for. Its past time for me to start living my life with some passion. So i vow to be a better example to the people around me. I guess im growing up a little more each day. So now i guess i am excited about lifes next shot on goal....

American Idol and everything thats wrong with american pop culture

So ive been watching American Idol for the last couple of weeks and i must say while entertaining and funny to watch over half of these people just absolutely suck the whole concept of this program is mind boggling. These people are funny, they put all their hopes and dreams in the hands of three people who if werent on this show besides Paula Abdul would be relatively unknown. Speaking of Unknown everyone reading this should definetly listen to Unknown Hinson that is REAL entertainment. Just like a good Ric Flair promo or a good episode of The A-Team. If we all stopped watching American Idol then 95% of these mentally challenged people wouldnt have all their dreams dashed by 4 irrelevant judges.

In the beginning there was...

So everyone i know is starting blogs. I figure that i should let the world know what goes on inside my mind on a day to day basis. I may write about things on here that over half of you could care less about and to you people i certainly dont mean to waste your time. But for those you who know me youll probably find some of this stuff hilarious and riveting. My name is Rodney Crouse and the ruckus part came from a motorcycle group i used ride with about 7 or 8 years ago. Im from the foot of the blue ridge mountains in North Carolina, and while i love it there because its home i definetly do not wanna live there the rest of my life. I have more fun than most of the free world, and i definetly try to seize each day.
Most of you that know me know that there are many "Rodney stories" floating around and i will definetly try to enlighten you on the new ones that come up. I love good music so dont be suprised to read about me talking about some good album i think you should listen to or something you should just never even think about polluting your head with. If you dont agree with something i say i apologize but i guess thats why its my blog and not yours... so i love all of you i hope you enjoy this madness that is my life... God Bless you all
